RECORDING THIS ALBUM...

was one of the craziest, most greatest times of our lives. On new years eve of 2017 we where fully packed (well… all of us except Emil) clothes, food, amps, gear in a rented trailer and eagerly waiting for the next day to come, because January 1st we where hitting the famous Sunlight Studio to record our full length debut album for a week. After we where at Emil’s place and he overslept and hadn't packed at all, finally we where on our way. We had been driving for hours and it was several more to go. Suddenly our car broke down we sat there for an hour waiting for a tow truck meanwhile it was pouring down rain like hell. We had to rent a car at a gas station, leave the other one to get repaired.

Tired and frustrated as fuck, we drove for hours in pitch dark, till we finally… reached Sunlight studio. Now remember this was in the way outside the city out on the country and it had been raining like crazy all day, we got stuck in the freakishly amount of mud on the way up to Tomas’s yard. Neither of us had ever… seen so much mud, it was like a swamp of mud, so we had to carry our gear and everything through this swamp in pitch dark middle of the night… it was crazy. Our feet soaking wet in mud water and shoes literally drenched, we settled in in Tomas’s guest cabin.

And the cabin we stayed in, was so old and so tiny haha, the doorway in each room was so freakishly small so every one of us hit our head in it at least two-three times per day. And all of us: three goofy 19 year olds and one 24 year old sleeping in bunkbeds in the same room - lots of farting, lots of pranks, lots Filip’s loud snoring…Haha it was so awesome, we had a blast. Pranking each other all the time, laughing so much we where out of breath. And we had so much fun working with Tomas on this album, Tomas is a great guy and a great producer. We had such a good time and which all of us will remember for the rest of our lives.

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo
